Brand new to Star Trek here! and holy smackeroos I luv the show!
Curious if you believe there is a correct or most benifical order of watching the different versions of Star Trek -
such as start with TOS because it first came out...or could you jus skip around...mabye begin with the earliest stardate (Enterprise)
how about beginning to watch Voyager after the 5th season of Ds9 another example of keeping with star date
Never watch the series when they were on original broadcast...now I jus rent the dvds...
So what would be your ideal order Star Trek series?

Well, there are a few suggestions I can make. 1. - Start where it all began, with the Original Series, and go from there. 2. - Start with the feature films. There are 11 of them now. Some are much better than others, but they all provide relatively fast-paced stand-alone stories, and are pretty good at introducing people to the Star Trek universe. 3. - (sorry for the shameless plug on this one ) You can start from the very beginning, and watch all the episodes in chronological order as they happen in the Star Trek Universe. If you're interested in this, join us at www.thestartrekchronologyproject.blogspot.com! Really, any of the above are good ways to begin. Also, if you're more interested in serialized television, Deep Space Nine is also a good place to start! Whatever you decide, enjoy the exciting world of Trek!
