With Data's death, and Patrick Stewart announcing not wanting to continue his role as Picard (and frankly already since the bad reviews of Nemesis) there has been a lot of discussion on what series (and if) a new movie would be made. I would love to see a DS9 movie, since that's my favorite show, but the relaunch novels (which I love dearly, keep 'm coming) have made that very difficult. So how about a movie that's not based on one of the series?? Here I have 2 great (and feasible) possibilities. There is quiet a trend in Hollywood to film comics, or computergames (Spiderman/Hulk/Lara Croft) So why not make a movie out of one of the Star Trek comics. Starfleet Academy for instance. This Marvel/Paramount co-production was incredible, and would bring back Nog, and possible cameo's of other loved characters. Or how about an Elite Force movie. This game has all the excitment and action a movie needs. What do Y'all think?? ;D (this post will also be posted on other MB's, to get a big a response as possible, so don't be surprised to see it elsewhere)

iI think that it would be interesting, but I doubt it would draw many crowds to the theatres.

I don't think many people will want to see a Starfleet Academy movie, but from what I've heard of Elite Force (I don't actually own it) that might be a good idea.
I'd rather see a Voyager movie myself.

I think a movie just based in the universe would be fun. A new massive enemy... yet again...
But you have all the people from the series' in various ships fighting, but you consentrate on one in particular. A new one. not an amazing new super ship, but maybe a new type. just a random. Onew that you would normally see in the bacjground, and explode quite quickly...
