I have been a Star Trek Fan '30 years' some of TOS is okay but the PJ's are funny and Klingons look stupid. I love all the TOS cast films / movies and own them all on DVD.
I cut my teeth on TNG and have all the film / movies on DVD and Seasons 1 and 3 on DVD.
I then got hooked on DS9 and I own Seasons 4 to 7 on DVD.
Then Voyager came out and I just got me even more hooked, I own Seasons 1 to 7 on DVD
I like Enterprise and I was sad to here it was cancelled
Please post how long you have been a ST/\R TREK fan and any details you care to add

Well I'd have to say about 12 years myself. Got all the films on video/DVD, but not many episodes - yet.

right from the word 'go' with the OS.
My favourite series though is Voyager. Got every episode on video and watch them when I can't find any ST on the telly.
Least favourite is DS9--and Enterprise is a bit of a disappointment as well.

I've heard so many mixed reports about Enterprise. I think coz it's so different to the others that people aren't sure what to think.

It started well--Enterprise that is. Then it sort of ran out of steam and is slightly lacking in charismatic characters--and Bakula is just SOOOOOOOOO miscast. I am surprised - with him in command-that the Enterprise didn't vanish into a 'spacial anomaly' never to be seen again. THEN there might never have BEEN an OS.  would there. !!!! |

Think the thing that gets me is that we meet the Xindi and the time travellers from the future and other aliens I can't remember the names of offhand, and we never see them in later (or earlier) series.

Well one is more devoted than the other but don't know which is which I always though a Trekkie was more devoted and a Trekker less but I am not sure?

I think I once heard something about whether you're gay or not. Think I also heard it depended on whether you preferred TOS or the new ones. Don't quote me on those. thney could be wrong.

Ive ben a star trek fan most of my life ,but felt betrayed after watching Generations . Im not a fan of TNG ,I find Andromeda more interesting than TNG .
Andromeda is so much like star trek TOS ,and the first 6 movies . TNG fans hate it . But its creator is Gene Roddenberry . I take my hat of to Majel Barret Roddenberyy for bringing it to the screen ,it knocks the crap out of TNG
