Hey all.
Welcome to the USS Justice. This is a play by email game I hope you
will all enjoy.
The scene is that it's set in the year 2404 (I'll explain that soon)
and the Federation is in disarray. The Kiklar, an enemy from the
Kalium Galaxy, came a fought the Federation. For more information on
the Kiklar, go to
www.stdragon.com
It's a fan fiction series by Jon Wasik. It is in it's 6th season,
and it's a great series.
Although the Kiklar were defeated, years later they came again, and
again they were defeated, however, the Federation was almost
destroyed. Earth is now one of the last remaining outposts of the
Federation, heavily guarded by all manner of weapons, ships and
defence turrets. The Klingons are still around and kicking, but
there are very few Cardassians left. The Romulans are almost
extinct, since both Romulus, Remus and Cardassia Prime have all been
destroyed.
Bajor is still intact, as is DS9, but now it is run by Captain Nog,
as is the Defiant. The Dominion were beaten, and the Founders,
Vorta, and Jem Hadar are scattered throughout the Alpha, Beta and
Gamma Quadrant, while the Delta Quadrant remains untouched.
Now you get a basic idea of the scene, the ship is a Peacemaker
class ship, one which is large and powerful. Take 4 Standard
Intrepid class ships, place them together so that you have one large
stardrive section, and 4 saucer sections, increse it's size by four
times, add onto it Photon, Quantum, Transphasic and Tri-cobolt
torpedo launchers, a lot of phasers arrays and turrets, Fighters,
saucer seperation sequence, an engineering section, and pair of warp
nacelles, on each section, four fighter bays, two on top of the
Stardrive section, two on the bottom, like fins extending from a
shark, all of them three decks tall, and a new weapon.
For those of you who have seen the TNG episode, The Best of Both
worlds, I have taken Will Riker's idea of usin the deflector dish to
create a powerful energy beam, and turned it into a deflector
cannon. The beam, when it impacts onto a target, sends a shockwave
that can destroy any ship not properly shielded against it, that is
around the ship.
That's the Justice. Powerful, but she also has the best scientific
capabilities, so I'll need some great scientists on board, as well
has recreation facilities, crew compliment two thousand, Marines,
and so on. There will be an Hydroponics bay and an Arboretium, so if
you just want to be a gardener, then that's fine.
If you are interested in joining us please go to www.freewebs.com/stjustice
As soon as we get enough members on board the ship, then we'll launch. If there are any questions, then please either post them, or email me at: daniel_balding@y...
I look forward to posting with you.
