I hope someone can assist me locate an episode, unknown to me, that a friend wants to find. The description I have is brief and I hope the recollection is accurate!
Kirk is on a planet and is being hunted down. In the end a "higher" being repremands his child(?) for misusing his powers that lead to Kirk being hunted.

Sounds ike arena , Kirk is hunted by the Gorn on cestus III, or it could be the
Gamsters of triskillian . Alan your description is very breif ,but dont worry I like a challenge

It's called "The Squire of Gothos" episode 18. Decent, but not one of my favorites.

This episode was the Squire of Gothos which was star treks first meeting with a Q being. The charactor Trevallian was the basis of the novel Q-Squared which was set in the tng era.

Alan sorry I cannot help you but maybe someone can help me identify where the following scene appeared
The only part I know is that Kirk, Spocke Uhura, and Chekov, and Sulu are on the bridge listening and watching a transmission from an alien. To the viewer we hear the transmission in English but each of the characters says they hear the transmission in their native tongue - Spock / Vulcan, Kirk- English, Sulu in Japanese, Uhura in Swahili. Don't remember anything else about the episode but want to put my hands on it. Thanks

That may have been the telepathic Melkotians in "Spectre of the Gun" that made each officer hear a different language (though I haven't seen the episode in a while, so you might want to double-check that).

It is "The Squire of Gothos", as mentioned by another poster. Many fans think that this was the idea for "Q".
I didn't particularly care for this episode.

Wonder if anyone can help...
As a kid I remember watching an TOS episode where Kirk gets trapped on a planet. He has encounters with several beautiful women and in the end it turns out the whole thing has been controlled by aliens with big red/pink heads?
Would love to watch it again! Cheers x
